What is included in each of our retreats?
You only need to bring your partner to experience a customized Amazing Races-inspired day that will assist the development of your mother-son relationship. All of our getaways include 2 participants, all meals, taxes, and supplies needed.
Sewing a Rag Quilt
Age
Sons aged 13 and up are welcome to attend this retreat.
Materials
All necessary materials, sewing machine rentals and equipment.
Personalization
Receive personalized clues, activities, and a quilt made by hand.
Meals
Steel Grill Catering provides snacks and lunch. Then our personal chef will prepare dinner.
Cooking & Waterfall Hike

Sewing a Rag Quilt
Sew a rag quilt and take your finished product home as a keepsake.
While designing and making your one-of-a-kind rag quilt, learn from each other and use art to develop a deeper bond.
During our Amazing Race-inspired day, you and your partner will be guided through the steps of making your rag quilt.
You will also enjoy catered snacks, lunch, and dinner while socializing with your partner throughout the day.
One day retreat: 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
Cooking Class
& Waterfall Hike
Our Scavenger hike and cooking class retreat begins with a cooking class and then progresses to a customized scavenger hike on one of Ontario's waterfall hiking trails.
Enjoy personalized clues and activities based on your interests and activity levels.
You will also go through a breathing exercise and a group communication exercise. When we return, you will be treated to a catered dinner prepared by a local restaurant.
One day retreat: 9:30 am to 2 pm
Craft & Music Class Day Retreat
Spend the day crafting with your child and shake your stresses away with a music dance party hosted by a local musician.
While enjoying a personalized experience in which we plan your day around your favourite musical instruments, foods, and crafts.
